This is the Mock up for my own college magazine. I think it would be popular because it has bright colours, and eye catching pictures, it relates to what has been happening with the school rather than just a plain black and white image. This is more of a magazine rather than a newsletter.
I think this is more eye catching than the original for reasons such as:
- There are bright eye catching colours
- The picture is the main image
- The masthead stands out
- The relevant information stands out in brightly coloured backgrounds
- The colours contrast so it makes everything stand out from eachother
